Curriculum

During our school year program, we will use a thematic approach to our lessons. We will balance academics, learning through play, and hands on activities to teach the children language arts, literacy, math, science, social studies, art and music, as well as, social skills and physical education. We offer preschool and

pre-k curriculum to prepare your child to transition into TK & Kindergarten. We will use curriculum from Handwriting Without Tears and Zoophonics in addition to our own. And, of course, we will have tons of FUN!

Our Teachers

Our teachers are highly qualified and experienced in early childhood education. They are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, loving, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. We are certified in CPR, First Aid, and Health & Safety. The teachers have current immunizations, background checks and are fingerprinted. We are a licensed facility through the Department of Social Services, of the State of California, license #313617147, all requirements have been met.

Nicole McIntosh - Owner/Teacher

I'm a proud mom of two children, raised in Lincoln. I have been married to my wonderful husband, for 30 years. We have lived in this great community of Lincoln since 2001. I have been teaching preschool in Lincoln for 20 years. My family and I have been actively involved in the communities schools, sports and local organizations, and city events. We are proud to live in such an amazing community!

About Little Peeps Preschool

At Little Peeps Preschool, our philosophy is to offer an environment where children can build confidence, learn social & sharing skills, become independent learners and practice academic skills that will lead to a successful transition into their continued education. Children will learn in a fun and loving way through exploring and hands on experiences using both structured and unstructured activities. Our program is for 3, 4 & 5 year olds. Balance is the key to a successful learning experience. Children need to be challenged to encourage their mental and physical growth. They need to be seen as individuals, given respect, and freedom with boundaries. Education comes together through the collaboration of the teacher, student and family. We all play a role in creating a foundation for the children socially, emotionally, physically, and academically, so they can grow and succeed at their full potential. Although our classroom is at a residence, we have a designated room for the preschool, that is licensed by the state. We provide low teacher to child ratios, 2 teachers to 12 children. We only offer preschool classes, we do not offer daycare.
